About us
Mission
The Association Dady Orsi, an Artist of the Twentieth Century intends to promote Dady Orsi’s personality, style, and research. The multidisciplinary fields and the integration of knowledge are guiding criteria both in the planning and in the selection of the activities proposed by the Association. Based on these premises, it undertakes to
- enhancing and protecting Dady Orsi’s work on a national and international level through its cataloguing and digitalisation
- preserve the heritage and historical memory represented by Dady Orsi’s work
- to promote and organise meetings, exhibitions and publications that disseminate knowledge of the Artist’s work
- to support the education and training of young people in the artistic field
Vision
Regarding the function of art in society, the founding members of the Association Dady Orsi, an Artist of the Twentieth Century share the idea that it improves the quality of life of individuals by raising their awareness. In addition, they believe that art fosters introspection and a readiness to understand the other.
The project was initiated by Cosma Orsi and is coordinated by him.
